I Heart Friends and Photoshop!

I had a little time to finally start playing with Photoshop and finding out how much I remember from my graphic arts class in high school.  I'm already learning lots of new fun stuff and I'm excited to play with it more.  Here are just a couple of my latest edits.

These are two of my dear friends who are expecting a little boy very soon!  It was so great to see them and to remember just how lucky their little boy will be to have two such amazing parents.  Best of luck!

What Fun We Had

I had so much fun this weekend doing a photo shoot with my good friend Hailey.  She is a senior in Piano Performance and wanted to get some cool pictures for her program and fliers for her senior recital.   The reason I know Hailey is because I started out as a piano major myself.  I have come to know many piano majors and have a deep respect for what it is they do.  I love music and love the piano.  I'm so excited for Hailey to be finishing her Bachelor's!  She deserves to go out with a bang :)

Much Love!

My Favorite Tree

There's this tree on the side of the road in Nibley area.  I kind of fell in love with it a few months ago and finally had a chance to take some pictures of it last weekend.

A few weeks ago, my best friend came to visit me and so another friend got together with us and we took some pictures. I just love my friends!

They thought it would be a good idea to sneak an "engagement" picture in :)

The most photogenic of us all

"There is only you and your camera.  The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are."  -Ernst Haas

I got a camera for Christmas and I LOVE it!!  Portrait photography is so fun and something I hope to do more and more as the months go by.  Here is one of my first test shoots with my ever beautiful roommate Candace.  I cannot decide whether or not I want to dabble in editing.  You'll find out as I post more.  Much love for now!

I'm at the beginning of what I hope to be a very wonderful and grand adventure with my new camera.
